源子玲 博士-简历
生于马来西亚. 1980年文化部奖学金入理科大学修艺术创作。留学菲律宾，1983年获菲律宾国立大学杰出学员奖，1985年考获艺术学士及1986年艺术硕士。2008年考获马来西亚理科大学博士. 1989年创办榔艺术学院，担任院长至今。1993年策划[她的彩色空间-亚洲/世界女画家系列联展]，在世界各国美术馆展出.1999年组织世界国际女艺术家理事会，担任总会长。1990年拓展土女画风，以描绘亚太区女性风貌著称。曾办个人十余次。作品 《大宝森节游行》和《歇》获马来西亚国家美术馆藏。数百作品被来自欧美，港，台，日，马新， 阿拉伯联邦公共机构及私人收藏家典藏。 出版画集十余种，有《源子玲画集》，《源子玲人物画集》等。个人著作：《女人画女人》，《蜡染绘画》等。网站：http://yuencheeling.art-her.com

Yuen Chee Ling Ph.D -  Biography

Yuen Chee Ling, born in Malaysia. Awarded Scholarship for Creative Art Certificate course at Universiti Sains Malaysia (1980) and “University Scholar” by University of the Philippines (1983). Graduated Bachelor of Fine Art Degree (1985), Master of Fine Arts Degree (1986) from University of the Philippines and Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from University Sains Malaysia (2008). Founder cum Director/Principal of Conservatory of Fine Art since 1989. Founder cum President of International Women Artists Council since 1999. Received international acclaims for her unique figurative style of the Pan Asian women type. Held 15 solo exhibitions and had participated in numerous group shows in important national /state museums and art galleries locally and abroad. Yuen Chee Ling has 10 publications to her credit, including Yuen Chee Ling Figurative Paintings and Yuen Chee Ling- Painting, Portraitures and Sketches 1966-1999. Authoring: “Women by Women” and “Batik as Painting”. Paintings and biography listed in “Achievements of World Chinese Artists”,” 20th Century Women Artists” (1996). Paintings selected to grace the cover of Reader’s Digest, the Expats (2000 & 2008) and Cosmic (2003). More than 100 write-ups about Yuen Chee Ling by renowned writers and art critics have been published in various magazines, art books and newspapers.
