杨淅麟,1948生于马来西亚,祖籍广东赤溪（客家人）.70年代北马现代画会(UTARA)与马来西亚槟城水彩画会发起人之一. ARTGRUP-PENANG画会发起人兼会长（2003-2007）.艺梵画廊及 ARTGROUP TNTERNATIONAL国际艺术家网络（2008）创办人.举办个展六次,在国内外美术馆联展百余次.擅长水彩,压克力和油画.早期作品以抽象为主,90年代拓展新乡土画风,以细腻写实的油画技法表现本土文化的纯朴和优雅特质著称.杨淅麟画作:《马来西亚乡村系列 - 摇篮》被选入《ICOM国际美术馆理事会 - 2007日记簿》和十五世纪至二十世纪的48位西方绘画大师（如毕沙罗,卡那雷托,马奈,泰纳,米勒,高更,老彼得.勃鲁凯尔等）登载一起, 受到国际美术界的高度评价.典藏他的画包括马来西亚中央银行,国家画廊,台湾炎黄艺术馆及来自中国,新加坡,印度尼西亚,泰国,香港,美国,英国,澳大利亚,加拿大,德意志联邦共和国,瑞士,丹麦和法国的收藏家.出版：《杨淅麟水彩画集》（1995）.
Yeong Seak Ling
Born 1948 in Malaysia, Founder member of Penang Water Colour Society & UTARA (Northern Malaysia Contemporary Artists Group). Founder cum President of ArtGrup-Penang (2003-2007) and ArtGroup-International (2008-). He has held 6 solo art exhibitions. His works were represented by important museums and galleries locally and abroad. Yeong Seak Ling is a prolific painter who is at home with water colour, acrylic and oil. His early works were mostly abstract. Since 1991, he has focus on local theme to reflect the quintessence of Malaysian cultural heritage and rural life. He has received international acclaims for his unique style that reflects both an integration of local subject matter and superb realism. One of his painting entitled: Malaysian Kampung Life series, from the collections of Central Bank of Malaysia, was featured in “The International Museums Engagement Diary 2007” together with renowned masters of the past like Edouard Manet, Paul Gauguin, Jean Francois Millet and George Turner. Important collections of his works: Central Bank of Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia), Malaysia National Art Gallery, Dragon Museum Taiwan, Universiti Sains Malaysia Museum, Penang Museum & Art Gallery and numerous private individuals from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, China, U.S.A, England, Australia, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and France.
